Tequila El Mexicano
• Aged for 30 months
• New American and French oak barrels
Cooking in stainless steel autoclaves. Extraction in tandem milling. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Fractional double distillation by batches in stainless steel stills. 100% agave.
Tequila El Mexicano, through the experience of our Master Tequilero, Ing. León Bañuelos Ramírez, invites you to a tasting where we will engage our senses.
Amber yellow color, with golden flashes and a straw yellow edge.
On the first nose, cooked agave and baking spices are present (clove, cinnamon, cardamom, white pepper); tobacco, plum, citrus in syrup, contributed by the French barrel; vanilla, maple, toasted coconut, cocoa provided by the American oak. Great depth of aroma and balance between the agave and the woods.
Medium-high alcoholic attack, confirming the nose to cocoa, coffee, maple, with a very long finish.
With great body and creaminess.
Recommendation: As a digestif, with a cigar, or a cut of meat with a good amount of fat.
They are perfect for pairing with high-cocoa content chocolates (over 70%) distinguished by their potent acidic and fruity notes, and marked astringency.
